Oral Presentations

For oral presentations, the hall will be equipped with a projector as well as a PC/laptop having Windows OS and MS Office 2003/2007. Mathtype will also be loaded onto the PCs and hence equations written in Mathtype should be OK. Acrobat Reader and VLC Media Players will also be available. However, anyone requiring any other software may like to bring his/her own laptop.

Electricity

Electricity in India runs at 220V and the frequency is 50Hz. Plugs have two or three round pins. Instruments that are not compatible with this may require an adapter. Such adapters are available in Bangalore, but may not be readily available. Hence it is advisable for foreign delegates to come prepared with an appropriate adaptor (it is not possible to buy one in Bangalore Airport as passengers are not allowed to enter to the shopping area on arrival).
