Call for Papers
ACODS invites researchers and practitioners to submit original work on the control and optimization of dynamical systems, in theory, computation and application.
The invitation
Send us your best control work
We welcome contributions that advance the theory of control and optimization, that develop new computational methods, and that demonstrate results on real systems. The scope is intentionally wide, so that a stability proof, an estimator design and a field trial can be discussed in the same programme.
Papers are accepted in two categories. Regular papers describe completed work in detail. Short papers present preliminary results or new ideas that are still taking shape. Both categories pass through the same review process.

Up to five pages
Suited to preliminary results and new directions. A short paper is a chance to put an idea in front of the community while the work is still developing.
Format
Preparation rules
- Prepare the file as a portable document format document.
- Use the double column style recommended for engineering conferences.
- Keep a regular paper within ten pages and five megabytes.
- Keep a short paper within five pages and two and a half megabytes.
- Write in clear English that a mixed audience can follow.

ACODS follows the cycle below. Confirm the exact dates for a given edition with the secretariat before you plan travel.
