About ACODS

A conference built around the analysis, design and deployment of controllers, estimators and optimization methods for systems that evolve over time.

Purpose

Theory and application under one roof

ACODS exists to give control engineers, applied mathematicians and system scientists a shared venue. The programme is broad by design, so a proof about stability, a new optimization routine and a flight test campaign can all find an audience in the same week.

Presentation sessions are paired with invited lectures and focused special sessions. Alongside regular papers that describe completed work in depth, the conference accepts shorter papers that introduce preliminary results or fresh ideas, which keeps the discussion lively and forward looking.

Every submission is read with the same care expected of established international meetings, and the accepted papers form a proceedings record that participants can keep.

Host institution

Indian Institute of Science

The conference is hosted by the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science in Bengaluru. The institute was founded in 1909 and is recognised for advanced research across science and engineering.

Bengaluru sits on the Deccan Plateau in southern Karnataka. The city is a centre for aerospace, telecommunications, information technology and higher education, which makes it a natural home for a meeting on dynamical systems and control.
