Practical guidance for presenters and delegates, from setting up slides to charging a laptop in India.
Presentations
Each presentation room is equipped with a projector and a computer running a current Windows system with the standard office suite. Equation editors and a portable document format reader are installed, and a media player is available for short clips.
If your talk relies on specialist software, bring your own laptop and a copy of the slides on a portable drive as a backup. Load your file during the break before your session so that the changeover stays on time.
Speakers should arrive in the room a few minutes early, introduce themselves to the session chair, and keep to the time allotted so that questions are not cut short.
